As my first official upper body workout prepping for next year's progress, I take on one of my favorite compound sets for a total of 10 super sets! The rules are: I'm not allowed to count the reps, go until (near) failure and little to no rest between the compound sets. The burn is unreal and the core workouts in the beginning and at the end really got me, too. As my shoulder injury becomes less and less severe and I get more functional strength and mobility back, I realized the last 4 months were a constant, daily mental battle for me. I had plans of traveling this summer for dunk contests, hitting a between-the-legs dunk and much more. But, like I've said so many times, it isn't a matter of "if"; it's a matter of "when". So, the prep and grind starts again and I know I'll reach my goals sooner than later. If anything, this injury has made me fall (back in) love with the process and not so much with the end result.
