This phase is called The Prep because it is the very first phase of my entire program. This style of training is for someone who may just be starting out their vertical training journey. It's also a solid gut-check for athletes that may be stuck to the usual 5x5 or 3x3 styles of training and want to challenge themselves with a higher rep count.

 

You'll enjoy the jumping plyometrics and leg days in this program because it won't fry your central nervous system. This means you'll still have energy to get some shots up or practice your specific sport after your leg days. I also place a heavy importance on upper body training so you'll also appreciate not only the break from training legs, but the upper body & core strength that will be added onto your body from this training!

 

This program does require access to a weight room.

 

This training program lasts anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on how long you'd like to push your body throuh this specific style of training. This program is just one phase (of six) that can be found in my Full 6-Month Online Vertical Training Program.
