This phase foucses on your jumping technique and conditiong twice a week as your leg days. For the other two days, you'll be hitting full body circuits. The goal of this program is to train your muscles to bear the load of the future heavy lifting & explosive plyometrics you need to go through to maxmimze your vertical.

 

There's no heavy lifting here; our focus is to get our jumping technique perfected. For lifting, we have to make sure our muscles are conditioned to physically take the stress of a long game or several overtimes while remaining explosive. The full body circuits will challenge you physically and mentally as you'll probably want to stop before the workout is over! This program will trim you down and build up your strength as you perfect your technique approach and start playing above the rim.

 

This program does require access to a weight room.

 

This training program lasts anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on how long you'd like to push your body throuh this specific style of training. This program is just one phase (of six) that can be found in my Full 6-Month Online Vertical Training Program.
